Take proactive steps to demonstrably improve performance and availability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the security and compliance of our systems by implementing best practices and standards \u2013 including ensuring that security and reliability system patches are tested and deployed in a timely manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the development teams to identify and resolve issues and implement new features and enhancements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain documentation of the systems and processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay current with industry trends and technologies and recommend new tools and methodologies that can improve our software delivery process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own the release guidelines including scheduling release windows and related activies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the timely and smooth deployment of projects in line with timelines, budget, and requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own risk management of the environments and deployment processes by providing input and guidance into risks that may affect the release scope, then measure and monitor progress to mitigate risks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in technology and design discussions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Always seek to identify and champion any opportunities to automate build, pipeline and deployment processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide technical support for all of our testing, staging and production environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technical Expertise:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Expert in the development, deployment and management CI \/ CD pipelines and proven expertise in the use of tools such as GitHub, Jira, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent knowledge of core networking technologies including routing, firewalls, DMZ &amp; encryption and VPN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to create technical plans and provide accurate work estimates while completing multiple tasks and projects with detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience and expert-level knowledge of source code management, configuration management, CI \/ CD, Continuous Testing \/ Automation, and continuous monitoring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polished communication skills: face-to-face, verbally, and in writing \u2013 must be able to listen carefully to other teams and guide them towards the optimal solution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with development- likely to have previously been a developer knowledge of scripting and automation tools (ex.
